Position Description & Qualifications
The Learning Implementation Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and sustaining learning initiatives across Serco’s employment and workforce development system. This role supports both internal teams and external service provider networks by ensuring learning initiatives are effectively delivered and embedded into practice over time.
The Learning & Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in supporting large‑scale initiatives, system change efforts, provincial onboarding, and ongoing monitoring of training outcomes beyond initial delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Learning & Training Management
- Coordination and support the delivery of learning initiatives for internal teams and external service provider networks
- Support end‑to‑end training initiatives, including planning, delivery, stakeholder engagement, and post‑training follow‑up
- Support system onboarding and training for new jurisdictions and program expansions
Content & Learning Design
- Support development, adaptation, and refinement of training materials, job aids, and learning resources
- Translate complex system processes and policy information into practical, learner‑focused content
- Support blended and asynchronous learning approaches to complement live sessions
Change Management & Sustainment
- Support post‑training reinforcement strategies, monitoring, and follow‑up to ensure learning translates into practice
- Contribute to monitoring and follow‑up for long‑term initiatives (e.g., IM&M+), recognizing training as part of broader change efforts
- Identify gaps, risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement in system learning
LMS Ownership
- Act as the functional lead for the Xeekrs LMS, including course management, learner tracking, reporting, and optimization
- Work closely with IT and stakeholders to improve LMS usage and user experience
- Manage User access, respond to LMS related inquiries, and support troubleshooting.
- Monitor system usage, completion rates, and engagement to identify trends and improvement opportunities
Stakeholder & Partner Engagement
- Serve as a key point of contact for external consultants and delivery partners supporting training initiatives
- Support system‑wide communication and engagement related to learning priorities and expectations
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary education in Adult Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience supporting learning initiatives, training programs, or organizational change efforts
- Experience working with or administering a Learning Management System
- Strong facilitation, coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple provinces, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets. In addition to base salary, eligible positions may include other forms of compensation such as annual bonuses or long-term incentive opportunities.
