Job Title: Learning Innovation Lead

Location: Hybrid – 2 days in Central London
We are working with a prestigious professional membership body and educational institution responsible for supporting standards, training, qualifications and professional development for professionals in their specialist field. They are looking for a Learning Innovation Lead to appoint in a permanent, full time position.
The role is a strategic leadership role responsible for learning innovation, educational technology strategy, horizon scanning, proof-of-concept development, digital enablement, stakeholder engagement, EdTech partner management and development of the learning technology roadmap. Responsible for ensuring technology adoption is driven by educational value and learner outcomes rather than technology for its own sake.
This is a hybrid role with 2 days per week in the office, based in Central London.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience developing and implementing digital learning, learning technology or educational innovation strategies.
- Experience evaluating emerging technologies and translating innovation into practical educational outcomes.
- Experience designing, leading and evaluating proof-of-concepts, pilots and innovation initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Experience working with external suppliers, EdTech partners and technology vendors.
- Experience driving digital transformation and organisational change within an education or professional learning environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Proactive, energetic and solutions-focused approach with the ability to generate momentum and drive initiatives forward.
Desirable
- Experience within a professional membership body, healthcare education, higher education or regulated learning environment.
- Experience developing learning technology roadmaps.
- Knowledge of AI and emerging technologies within learning and education.
- Experience establishing thought leadership or innovation communities of practice.
- Change management or transformation experience.
