The Training Project Manager plays a key role in delivering projects that support MBNL’s transformation into an Infrastructure Management Company. Sitting within the People, Programmes & Change directorate, this role is part of the Portfolio Management Group (PMG) Centre of Excellence, working closely with business teams to plan and schedule training services across MBNL’s infrastructure estat
e.

This is a hybrid role, based in Reading, with 2–3 days per week in the offi

do:You’ll manage, plan and schedule training projects within MBNL’s portfolio, ensuring strong governance, control, and stakeholder engagement. You

gets• Establish and manage projects in line with shareholder requirements and MBNL govern
ance• Plan, monitor, and report on progress, risks, issues, and interdependen
cies• Proactively manage budgets, forecasting, and spend against bene

Who we’re looking
for:You’re a delivery‑focused training project manager with strong planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills. You’re comfortable working in complex environments and ensuring business adoption of change. You’ll
- have:Proven experience leading large-scale training delivery within complex, multi-supplier or regulated environm
- ents.Strong capability in planning, governance, and execution, not just training de
- sign.Hands-on experience managing training via an LMS, including reporting and assur
- ance.Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence working across delivery partners and senior stakehol
- ders.Highly organised, outcome-focused, and comfortable operating in delivery-critical phases of proj
- ects.Manage training through deployment using Learning Management System
- (LMS)Tracking and reporting training progress, competence, and read

- killsPRINCE2, APMP, or equivalent project management qualific
