Our Client is seeking a strategic and influential Director – Organizational Effectiveness & Development to lead enterprise capability‑building and engagement initiatives. This role is responsible for shaping learning strategies, enhancing leadership effectiveness, and driving organizational performance in a complex, matrixed environment.
About the Role
As a senior individual contributor, you will design and implement high‑impact learning and development strategies that strengthen strategic thinking, execution excellence, and industry expertise. You will collaborate across leadership teams and functions to deliver programs that enhance organizational effectiveness and drive meaningful business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Capability & Learning Strategy
- Develop and evolve a comprehensive capability‑building strategy aligned with business transformation goals.
- Design and deliver impactful learning programs, including workshops, case studies, webinars, and knowledge resources.
- Create structured learning roadmaps that enhance strategic thinking and execution capabilities across teams.
Leadership Engagement & Program Design
- Lead the design and execution of leadership forums and team engagement initiatives with clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Own and deliver recurring team forums, ensuring content is relevant, practical, and aligned with business priorities.
- Plan and execute large‑scale team events and leadership sessions that reinforce both culture and capability development.
Program Delivery & Operations
- Manage end‑to‑end execution of key initiatives, including agenda design, stakeholder coordination, logistics, and post‑event evaluation.
- Partner with internal teams (communications, events, operations) to ensure high‑quality program delivery.
- Establish structured onboarding frameworks to accelerate new team member integration and productivity.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Insight Sharing
- Act as a connector across teams and leadership groups to align initiatives and maximize impact.
- Translate insights from internal and external forums into actionable recommendations and learning opportunities.
- Facilitate participation in strategic and industry events and ensure knowledge is captured and shared effectively.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience in organizational effectiveness, strategy, transformation, learning & development, or business operations.
- Proven ability to lead complex initiatives through influence in matrixed organizations
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders
- Experience translating strategy into actionable plans, milestones, and measurable outcomes
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or regulated industries
- Background in designing leadership development programs or capability‑building initiatives
- Experience managing cross‑functional programs with multiple stakeholders
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools and AI‑enabled productivity tools
