About The Role
As our Academy Solutions Associate, you will support the sales activities of the CIOB Academy and generating income. You will focus on working closely with the Academy Sales Team and wider academy team, generating B2C sales, with occasional involvement in B2B sales support, booking in meetings for the wider sales team and undertaking outbound sales campaigns.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Generating leads for the wider sales team, this can be from conversations on Sales Campaigns.
- Identifying potential customers from various business sources and putting together sales campaigns.
- Using LinkedIn to build a strong network and keep regular posting to build a following.
- Using LinkedIn (SalesNav) to find the correct contacts at organisations.
- Participating in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales processes.
- Proactively looking for other streams of income or ways to drive income through the academy.
- Supporting the Academy sales team to achieve sales targets.
- Engaging with prospective learners via phone and email with an intention to sell Academy courses.
- Assisting with preparing quotes and proposals for clients.
- Providing administrative support for course set-up on internal systems (Moodle, CRM, finance).
About You
The ideal candidate will have/ be:
- Ability to maintain and add to customer databases
- Great telephone manner and ability to converse with customers
- Ability to bring new ideas to the table and confident to speak up
- Commercially minded and able to see the potential for an opportunity in every conversation
- Knowledge of the education and construction sector
- Display a driven mentality and be able to tell us how you achieve your targets.

- Able to articulate ideas clearly, listen effectively, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
