A global professional services organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Learning & Development professional on a 12-month FTC to support a broad people and capability agenda across a complex, fast-paced environment.
This is a highly visible role, partnering closely with senior business leaders and wider People teams to help shape and deliver strategic learning initiatives across the organisation. The remit sits well beyond coordination; the business is looking for someone able to influence stakeholders, drive engagement, and help improve organisational capability at scale.
The environment is collaborative, commercial, and evolving quickly, particularly around digital capability and the use of AI within the workforce. The organisation is investing heavily in future skills, innovation, and how learning can better support business performance. As such, they are looking for someone with strong AI fluency who understands how emerging technology can enhance learning, productivity, and broader organisational effectiveness.
You'll join a well-established People function but with significant ownership and exposure from day one. The role would suit someone who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is comfortable navigating a large, matrixed organisation.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Supporting the design and delivery of leadership and professional development programmes
- Helping shape capability-building initiatives linked to digital transformation and AI adoption
- Partnering with senior stakeholders to understand future skills gaps and workforce capability needs
- Driving engagement with modern learning approaches and tools
- Using data and insight to evaluate programme effectiveness and business impact
- Working closely with broader HR and Talent teams on organisational priorities and change initiatives
The successful individual will likely bring:
- Experience within Learning & Development, Talent Development, Leadership Development, or broader organisational capability roles
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
- Confidence discussing AI, digital capability, and future workforce trends in a practical business context
- Experience operating within professional services, consulting, financial services, or similarly fast-paced corporate environments
- A commercial and solutions-focused mindset
- The ability to balance strategic contribution with operational delivery
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working and excellent exposure across a globally recognised business. It offers the opportunity to step into a visible role with strong leadership interaction, meaningful project work, and genuine ownership.
