We’re looking for a Global Head of Learning and Development to lead the charge at Kraken! You'll be the driving force behind designing and delivering world-leading learning solutions that support team onboarding, deep cultural immersion, leadership development, and dynamic, discipline-specific training pathways.
What You'll Do
- Develop a forward-thinking, global learning strategy that matches our rapid pace of innovation, aligning perfectly with our cultural principles and bold business goals.
- Spearhead the rollout of new learning technologies (LMS & Career Marketplace), driving a skills-based approach that empowers our teams to own their growth.
- Architect a blended approach to learning programs, from epic team onboarding and culture immersion to leadership development and role-specific upskilling.
- Develop relentlessly engaging, accessible learning materials that make upskilling as enjoyable as it is effective.
- Work seamlessly with elite external performance coaches, content development partners, and our client-facing experience teams to co-create high-impact learning.
- Constantly optimise by regularly assessing learning needs, gathering data-driven feedback, and rapidly refining training initiatives to drive high performance; just like we do with our software.
- Leverage the latest in AI, automation, and cutting-edge external platforms to deliver scalable, smart learning solutions.
- Champion and lead our industry-leading apprenticeship schemes to build the next generation of Kraken talent.
What You'll Need
- A proven track record of designing and executing global L&D strategies that hit business goals out of the park.
- Experience scaling culture and learning across diverse international teams, seamlessly adapting programs to global and regional needs.
- Highly skilled in collaborating with top-tier external partners, including performance coaches and content developers.
- Experience building, inspiring, and leading high-performing, agile L&D teams.
- A stellar ability to align senior stakeholders, connect learning directly to business strategy, and confidently drive large-scale organizational change.
- Comfortable managing budgets, proving ROI, and showing exactly how learning moves the needle on business performance.
- Deep expertise in LMS implementations, AI-driven learning, digital transformation, and staying ahead of emerging L&D trends.
- An infectious passion for fostering a continuous learning culture, while building an L&D function that is as scalable and sustainable as our energy grids.
- Proven experience navigating and leading through large-scale, fast-paced business transformations.
