Learning & Development Manager

London | Hybrid (3 days in office)

A growing technology-oriented business is looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to help shape leadership capability, management effectiveness and performance across a scaling organisation.

This is a broad role with real visibility across the business, combining strategic programme design with hands-on delivery. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders to strengthen leadership and management capability, improve performance, and create a more consistent approach to learning and development across the organisation.

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

Designing and evolving the organisation’s L&D strategy
Building leadership and management capability programmes
Supporting performance and capability improvement across teams
Developing scalable learning frameworks, tools and resources
Delivering workshops, coaching and learning initiatives across the business
Driving the use of modern learning technology and digital learning solutions
Partnering with senior stakeholders to identify capability gaps and development priorities
Supporting wider talent, succession and performance initiatives
Managing external learning providers and evaluating programme effectiveness

What they’re looking for:

Experience in a senior L&D role within a fast-moving or scaling organisation
Strong experience developing leadership and management capability
Experience supporting performance improvement and manager effectiveness
Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Experience with digital learning tools, LMS platforms and blended learning approaches
Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills
Experience within telecoms, technology or other high-growth environments would be beneficial
