Overview Of Role
Reporting to the Director of Organizational Development and Community Impact, this role will create and embed tools and workshops that build organizational capability, empower ongoing career development, and enable strong succession planning for our global team. This role will be the subject matter expert on all BOA Learning & Development tools, resources and partnerships, ensuring our global teams are aware of and have access to meaningful training and resources that support ongoing growth and inspire and enable peak performance.
Core Responsibilities
- Reflect and role model BOA’s vision, values and Leadership Model and demonstrate passion for our mission across the People & Culture team and rest of the organization
- Continue to evolve our Learning and Development (L&D) program and approach, ensuring we have a strategic and future-oriented focus to talent development and building organizational capability
- Partnering with the Director of OD and Community Impact, and the Chief People & Culture Officer, gain alignment on tools and frameworks that will support organization development and the strengthening of our succession pipeline
- Develop and facilitate training workshops and learning events, working with regional People & Culture teams to activate across the globe
- Act as subject matter expert in relation to Learning and Development, ensuring the organization has the tools and confidence to onboard, inspire, and continuously develop our diverse and talented team
- Manage the relationships with our learning and development partners, and act as owner of any related content / libraries, aligning partnerships to organizational capability needs
- Align with key stakeholders (including senior leadership and functional leaders) to build out the annual L&D calendar, including BOA Shares (internal knowledge sharing), leadership training, career development training, and customized workshops/learning events aligned to organizational needs
- Provide input into the development of L&D operating plans, including recommendations for the annual L&D budget
- Coordinate logistics for L&D events, initiatives, and processes
- Make recommendations based on research, data and insights, for solutions that continue to develop our leaders and managers, helping them to bring the Leadership model to life and to create a positive employee experience
- Leverage knowledge and insights to support the evolution of our overall People & Culture approach against our future state
Required Qualifications
- Degree and experience in HR, Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or a relevant field
- 3+ years experience creating and facilitating learning and development workshops, within a commercial environment
- Ability to work with stakeholders across the organization to identify learning needs and align on tools / approach
- Experience contributing to or leading the creation of 1-2 year learning calendars / plans
- Advanced communication skills, with the ability to inspire and inform diverse, global stakeholders
- A passion for continuously learning and seeking out new approaches
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with diverse groups of people across the globe
- Strong prioritization skills, and comfort working in a fast-paced organization
- Understanding of the importance of using data and insights to measure progress and evolve programs
Desired Qualifications
- Instructional Design certifications or experience
- Experience identifying, implementing or administering a Learning Management System (LMS)
- Previous experience working with FranklinCovey tools and materials, or similar
- Previous HR / P&C / leadership experience
Overview Of Compensation And Benefits
- Budgeted salary range: $80,000 - $95,000
- We will determine salary based on skills and experience in relation to the function of the role, as well as equity to any other employees with similar experience in the same or similar role
- This role is also eligible for a 10% annual bonus
