Location: Toronto, Shelton CT, Louisville KY, or North Palm Beach FL (Hybrid)
In this position, you’ll be based in one of our US or Canada offices for a minimum of three days a week, with the flexibility to work from home for some of your working week. For Toronto only, your working hours will be 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday with flexible hours typically from 7.00am to 6.00pm. We have a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Learning Specialist or Instructional Designer to join our client education team within Computershare’s Entity Solutions business (CES). CES is a fast-growing division that’s shaping the future of corporate governance and entity management through our smart, transformative services and solutions. Some Of Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Design, develop and maintain learning solutions for our CES applications, including eLearning, software simulations, how-to videos (screencasts), how-to guides, instructor-led training and certification exams.
- Facilitate virtual training sessions for our CES clients using Microsoft Teams.
- Develop performance-focused and appealing eLearning with Articulate Rise and Storyline including software simulations and assessments.
- Develop high-quality, easy-to-follow video screencasts using Camtasia or Articulate.
- Apply user experience (UX) and graphic design best practices to design solutions with intuitive navigation, engaging interfaces and appealing graphics.
- Continuously evaluate and improve learning experiences based on user feedback, data insights and performance metrics.
- Meet and effectively collaborate virtually with your global team on a weekly basis.
What will you bring to the role?
- University degree; or a minimum of six years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3-5 years of experience designing, developing and delivering learning solutions as a learning specialist, instructional designer, learning experience designer or similar role.
- Experience facilitating training sessions virtually using Microsoft Teams, WebEx or similar applications.
- Experience developing eLearning with Articulate Rise and Storyline. Ability to produce assessments, software simulations, and complex interactions.
- Experience developing software screencast videos with Camtasia or similar applications.
- Experience transforming complex processes into easy-to-follow how-to content.
- Experience using SnagIt or similar software to produce screenshots.
- Strong client facing communication skills, with the ability to understand needs, clarify expectations, and provide a positive client experience.
- Excellent productivity and project management skills.

Compensation. The base pay range for this role is $78,000 - $93,000 CAD/year. This salary is specific to the Toronto and a direct currency conversion will not be representative of salaries in our other global locations. For salaries in other countries please reach out to the talent acquisition partner recruiting for this role.
