The Position
As a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will deliver strategic HR support and guidance to our clients in various industries. You will collaborate closely with client organizations to understand their unique challenges and objectives and provide tailored HR solutions to address their needs effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR, exceptional communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and a passion for driving positive organizational change. Consulting experience is not required, as we welcome candidates with diverse HR backgrounds who are eager to learn and grow. One of the exciting aspects of this role is the opportunity to work with clients across various industries, gaining invaluable experience and insights into different organizational cultures and challenges.
The Day-to-Day: Integrated and Project HR Support
Client Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for designated client organizations, building strong relationships and understanding their HR needs.
- Conduct regular meetings and check-ins with clients to assess their HR requirements and provide proactive support and guidance.
- Champion and promote a vibrant and inclusive company culture by organising events, initiatives and programs that foster a diverse, team focused work environment helping to drive organizational success.
HR Consultation and Advisory Services:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of HR topics, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with their business objectives, driving positive outcomes for their organization.
Strategic HR Planning and Implementation:
- Partner with clients to develop strategic HR plans that support their long-term goals and objectives.
- Oversee and lead the implementation of HR initiatives, programs, and policies designed to enhance organizational effectiveness and drive employee engagement.
Talent Management and Development:
- Support clients in talent acquisition efforts, including recruitment strategy development, candidate sourcing, and selection processes.
- Design and deliver learning and development programs to enhance workforce skills and capabilities, aligning with client needs and business objectives.
Employee Relations and Engagement:
- Provide guidance and support to clients in resolving employee relations issues and fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement employee engagement and retention strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and loyalty.
HR Process Optimization:
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance efficiency within client organizations.
- Recommend and implement HR technology solutions to automate and optimize HR operations.
Provide other HR-related support as required.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education with a focus in Human Resources, Commerce or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on business partnering.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- Computer literacy, including effective working skills of HRIS systems, Adobe products, Google suite, and Microsoft Office preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an independent, fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Strategic thinking skills with the ability to align HR initiatives to organizational goals and deliver practical solutions.
- Proven project management skills required.
- A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
- High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- CPHR certification considered an asset.

Hourly Rate: $35-49/hour
