We’re looking for a Remote Experience Manager to help bring HealthEquity’s remote teammate experience to life. This is an individual-contributor role focused on designing, building, delivering, and continuously improving the programs, frameworks, and virtual experiences that support a fully distributed workforce. This role ensures that every interaction—onboarding, engagement, communication, and support—feels seamless, inclusive, and human in primarily a fully remote environment.
This role will implement and operationalize defined strategy through clear norms, scalable programs, data, and thoughtful virtual experiences that support connection, engagement, and day-to-day effectiveness for teammates working remotely across the country.
What you’ll be doing
- Execute HealthEquity’s remote teammate experience initiative – based on strategy and direction set by People Experience leadership – to strengthen connection, alignment to mission and values, and engagement across a fully distributed workforce.
- Create and maintain repeatable playbooks, toolkits, workflows, and templates for virtual experiences and remote engagement (onboarding, engagement, retention, offboarding).
- Serve as the primary advocate for remote experience needs across the organization
- Build and optimize remote work frameworks and norms, such as best practices for meetings, collaboration guidelines, and teammate experience standards to support remote collaboration and engagement.
- Own the day-to-day management and operation of the digital workplace and social intranet (Workvivo).
- Implement engagement and culture campaigns through the digital workplace to support enterprise communication and connection goals.
- Plan and deliver virtual events and experiences, including enterprise programs such as a teammate development week and virtual recognition moments.
- Partner with Learning & Development, Recognition, and People partners to support aligned virtual programming.
- Track and report on engagement, adoption, and participation metrics for remote and virtual programs.
- Gather, analyze and apply teammate feedback and data to continuously improve execution and experience quality.
- Serve as a practical resource for leaders and teams on effective remote collaboration and virtual engagement practices.
- Collaborate with in-person experience and People programs partners to ensure a cohesive end-to-end teammate experience.
- Identify risks to experience and quality and proactively implement solutions
- Stay current on remote work best practices, tools, and trends
What you will need to be successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, or related field preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in People or workplace experience management, HR programs, engagement, or related fields.
- Hands-on experience working in and supporting a fully remote or distributed organization.
- Proven experience executing and scaling virtual or remote programs within an established People strategy.
- Experience managing and optimizing digital workplace or collaboration platforms (Workvivo or similar).
- Strong organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.
- Comfort using data and teammate insights to inform improvements and reporting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise virtual events and programs that drive engagement and connection in a remote or distributed environment.
- Ability to partner cross-functionally and execute effectively within defined direction.
- Creative, thoughtful, and execution-focused.
