Location: Bolton based (Hybrid / Flexible working options)
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 (Dependent on Experience)

The Opportunity
Our client is a leading, multi-award-winning specialist in the insurance and professional services sector. Known for their innovation and commitment to technical excellence, they are now looking for a creative and strategic Group Learning & Development Manager to join their central leadership team.
This is a high-impact role where you will own the L&D strategy for a national group. You will be responsible for ensuring that teams across multiple divisions have the skills, knowledge, and leadership capability to excel in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Oversight: Develop and implement an L&D strategy that aligns with the group’s ambitious growth and business goals.
- Programme Development: Design, coordinate, and deliver engaging development programmes focusing on leadership, management, and professional skills.
- Training Needs Analysis: Partner with senior leadership and department heads to identify and close skills gaps through data-driven analysis.
- LMS Management: Oversee and enhance the group’s Learning Management System (LMS) and e-learning suite.
- Evaluation: Measure the impact of training interventions to ensure continuous improvement and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (or equivalent).
- Experience: A proven track record in L&D within a regulated environment (Insurance, Financial Services, or Legal) is essential.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in digital learning tools and LMS administration.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
