What You'll Do
The Senior Learning Consultant is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging, interactive, and multimodal learning strategies and content.
- Design and deliver enterprise blended learning programs and Instructor-Led training tailored to business and talent development needs.
- Create learning experiences that integrate reinforcement, practice, and on-the-job application, equipping leaders with tools and strategies to support post-learning transfer and sustainment.
- Develop comprehensive multimodal learning assets (eLearning, videos, infographics, resources) that are visually appealing, user-friendly, and interactive, using authoring tools and multimedia elements.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), business leads, HR partners, and external vendors to analyze learning needs and develop effective solutions.
- Incorporate instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and design thinking to ensure clarity, engagement, and impact.
- Facilitate in-class and virtual learning experiences; comfortably deliver training to large groups or on camera.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of learning materials into Workday Learning.
- Manage deliverables and project timelines while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- Evaluate and demonstrate the impact of learning experiences; document measured results, key metrics, lessons learned, and recommend improvements.
- Stay up to date with trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
- Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles into learning design and facilitation to ensure learning experiences are accessible and inclusive.
- Build strong relationships and collaborate confidently across all levels and functions.
- Work independently as well as part of a geographically dispersed team.
What You Bring
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in instructional design of enterprise blended learning programs, eLearning development, and learning strategy in a complex, multi-location environment.
- Expert proficiency in Articulate 360 and advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond/GoAnimate.
- Strong working knowledge of digital learning tools and technologies (e.g., Workday Learning, PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
- Proven ability to rapidly design and develop multimodal learning content.
- Excellent instructional design skills, facilitation skills, and communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Ability to identify interdependencies and synergies while navigating cross-functional tasks for shared outcomes.
- Demonstrated focus on adding value, delivering outcomes, and taking personal responsibility for driving deliverables forward.
- Experience working in a centralized learning function in a large, complex organization

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 CAD Annual. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
