Overview:
Encore Vet Group partners with veterinary practice leaders nationwide to support the people who deliver exceptional animal care. As we continue to evolve, we're looking for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to help build impactful training and onboarding experiences that support our teams and our mission.
Responsibilities:
Reporting to the VP of Human Resources, this role leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and onboarding programs across the organization. You’ll collaborate closely with subject matter experts and operational leaders to create engaging, practical learning experiences that drive knowledge retention, skill development, and performance.
This is a hands-on, individual contributor role ideal for a learning professional who enjoys building programs, translating vision into reality, and using data to improve outcomes.
In this role, you will:

Design and deliver onboarding and learning programs that are delivered in various formats: live virtual, asynchronous, and cohort-based;

Partner with the VP of HR and subject matter experts to assess learning needs and develop effective solutions;

Build and maintain role-based onboarding plans, including the first 90 days of employment;
- Leverage learning technologies and LMS tools to create engaging, accessible content;

Measure training effectiveness and use insights to continuously improve programs; and

Support a culture of learning, growth, and collaboration across the organization.
What we are looking for:
- Background in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design models.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Veterinary experience is not required, but a passion for pets and the people who care for them is a must!

Pay Range: USD $85,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr.
