Position Description
- Consults with business leadership and stakeholders to identify learning gaps and uses this information to recommend appropriate learning solutions that lead to behavior change impacting business priorities/results.
- Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the onboarding program for new Lenovo NA ISG sellers in the US and Canada.
- Uses appropriate instructional design strategies to create effective learning programs and materials using a variety of media.
- Facilitates in-person classroom and virtual training.
- Collaborates with the Alliances team to deploy training programs which align to business priorities
- Conducts research to understand industry best practices to discover important innovations and trends in learning. Applies these new methods, when feasible, to advance the learning experience, impacting team member performance.
- Evaluates the effectiveness of learning programs using appropriate frameworks and reports the measured impact.
- Works with sales managers to monitor learner needs post-onboarding and provides reinforcement resources.
- Actively participates on cross-functional teams to support rollout of key training initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of training activities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in related field (e.g., education, business)
- Minimum 5 years of corporate training experience, preferably in sales training or onboarding programs
Prefered Qualifications
- Knowledge of adult learning theory
- Experience in training needs analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs
- Experience in virtual and in-person facilitation
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Must be able to effectively work with a range of stakeholders including executives, subject matter experts, vendors, et al.
- Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (e.g., PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of training development software (e.g., Articulate, Mentimeter)
- Experience with learning management systems a plus
- The ability to work in fast-paced ambiguous environments, adapting quickly to changing circumstances, processes and priorities
- Strong initiative and drive for results
Hybrid Schedule Required - 3 days in minimum
