💼 Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership & Vision:
- Develop and own the comprehensive talent development strategy for Europe, ensuring tight alignment with regional business objectives and global HR priorities.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior business leaders and HR Business Partners, diagnosing organizational needs and co-creating solutions to build critical capabilities.
- Utilize data analytics and talent insights to measure program effectiveness, identify future skill gaps, and forecast leadership needs.
- Leadership & High-Potential Development:
- Design, implement, and scale a suite of leadership development programs targeting all levels, from emerging leaders to senior executives.
- Oversee the identification, assessment, and development of high-potential employees, managing succession planning for critical roles across the region.
- Champion a coaching and feedback culture, equipping managers with the skills and tools to effectively develop their teams.
- Performance & Career Management:
- Evolve and manage our European performance management framework, shifting the focus from annual reviews to continuous feedback, goal alignment (OKRs/KPIs), and meaningful development conversations.
- Create clear and compelling career pathways and mobility frameworks that enable employees to visualize and actively pursue growth opportunities within the company.
- Integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) principles into all talent processes to ensure fair development opportunities for everyone.
- Learning & Capability Building:
- Oversee the learning and development ecosystem for Europe, including digital learning platforms (LMS/LXP), content curation, and blended learning solutions.
- Partner with subject matter experts to design and deliver targeted training initiatives that address specific business challenges and build functional expertise.
- Foster a self-directed learning environment where employees are empowered to take ownership of their professional growth.
📌 Requirements
- Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in Talent Management, Leadership Development, or Learning & Development, with at least 3-5 years in a strategic leadership role with regional (European) scope.
- Strategic & Business Acumen: Proven ability to translate business strategy into impactful talent initiatives. You think commercially and can demonstrate the ROI of talent development programs.
- Expertise: Deep subject matter expertise across the talent lifecycle, including leadership development, performance management, succession planning, organizational design, and learning technologies.
- Cross-Cultural Leadership: Significant experience working across diverse European cultures and legal frameworks. You are adept at creating programs that are both globally consistent and locally relevant.
- Influencing Skills: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. You can build credibility and influence at all levels, from the C-suite to individual contributors.
- Mindset: A modern, agile, and data-driven approach. You are a systems-thinker who is passionate about creating exceptional employee experiences.
- Languages: Fluent in English is essential. Proficiency in another major European language (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is a strong asset.
- Logistics: Willingness to travel across Europe as needed (approx. 20-25%).
