Contract Length: 167 Business Days (with possible extension)

Work Structure: Hybrid, Monday–Friday, 7.25 hours/day
About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Training Specialist (Change Management & Training) to support a large-scale modernization and transformation initiative within the public sector. This role will be instrumental in preparing sandbox environments, structuring training simulations, and building a SharePoint-based knowledge repository to enhance service delivery and support end-users.
This is a hybrid position based in Ontario, requiring strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Finance & Operations (F&O), training simulations, and SharePoint content management.
Key Responsibilities
- Support sandbox data preparation and environment setup within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and F&O.
- Develop role-based test data, assignments, and simulation scripts aligned with business processes.
- Create and maintain a structured SharePoint knowledge repository (subpages, metadata, web parts, and layouts).
- Produce technical documentation, user guides, workflows, and process-aligned content in plain language.
- Collaborate with training designers, developers, and project teams to ensure sandbox and digital assets are ready for training delivery.
- Provide knowledge transfer through documentation, walkthroughs, and SharePoint materials.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
- Proven experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE and/or Finance & Operations (F&O) (or related CRM systems), particularly in sandbox/testing contexts (role setup, records creation, workflow validation).
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online for building and structuring knowledge repositories, including subpages, web parts, and metadata.
- Strong practical knowledge of creating and manipulating system data for training simulations and testing scenarios.
- Skilled in documenting and organizing technical content, training guides, and system instructions for end-user learning.
- Highly detail-oriented with a structured approach to data preparation, assignment creation, and scenario alignment.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience designing and executing test case scripts and acceptance testing.
- Ability to transform technical documentation, workflows, and processes into training-ready content.
- Strong analytical skills for preparing role-based test data and validating training scenarios.
- Familiarity with AODA accessibility standards and plain language writing for technical documentation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams (training, IT, business).
