Learning Solutions Designer
We are ready to take this game to the next level and need someone passionate who will be accountable for the end-to-end instructional design process, from needs analysis and research through to design, development, deployment and evaluation. The role will design and develop high-quality e-learning courses using Articulate 360 (Storyline & Rise), complemented by virtual, classroom, and blended learning. The role will collaborate closely with the Learning team and SMEs to recommend the build, buy, or curate approaches to learning solutions and ensure seamless delivery through our LXP and LMS.
YOUR ROLE IN THE GAME
Reporting to the Director Learning & Change Enablement, you will be empowered to:
- Design and develop engaging, interactive learning solutions across multiple modalities, including e-learning (using Articulate 360 Storyline and Rise), virtual and in‑person delivery, video, microlearning, and blended programs.
- Create high‑quality instructional assets such as storyboards, scripts, assessments, and performance supports aligned to clear learning objectives and on the job application, accessibility requirements, and enterprise quality standards.
- Manage content operations end‑to‑end, including templates, version control, lifecycle management, and rigorous quality assurance (functionality, accessibility, media quality, and SCORM/xAPI packaging).
- Publish, maintain, and optimize digital learning content within LMS and LXP platforms, ensuring accurate setup, tagging, discoverability, and alignment to learning pathways and campaigns.
- Run operational reports (enrollments, completions, assessment outcomes) to evaluate effectiveness; partner with HRIS and/IT for advanced analytics, integrations, and platform updates.
- Collaborate closely with the Learning team, Subject Matter Experts, and stakeholders to diagnose needs, recommend build/buy/curate solutions, and deliver content aligned to compliance and business outcomes.
- Evaluate effectiveness through learner feedback, engagement, completions, and assessment data; share insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement and support delivery and facilitation as needed.
- Act as a subject matter expert and strategic partner to internal stakeholders, including leaders, SMEs, HRBPs, as well as external vendors and learning providers.
Education & Experience
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE GAME
- University or specialized degree in Instructional Design, Learning Technology, Adult Education, or related disciplines.
- Five (5) years in instructional design with hands-on e-learning development in a large enterprise.
Relevant Skills
- Relevant certifications such as CPLP/CPTD (ATD), Instructional Design or LxD certificates, or ATD Master Instructional Designer; Agile/Scrum certifications considered an asset.
- Strong experience with instructional design methodologies and learning technologies, including Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Camtasia, Canva, LMS/LXP platforms, and SCORM/xAPI standards; AI‑enabled authoring tools are a strong asset.
- Strong experience operating with LMS/LXP platforms (publishing, testing, reporting) as learning administrator
- Proven ability to design learning across modalities using effective instructional practices to drive engagement, retention, and on‑the‑job application, with experience leveraging AI to accelerate design.
- Excellent project management, prioritization, and stakeholder communication skills, combined with curiosity for emerging learning trends and a continuous improvement mindset.
