Global Head of Learning & Development
City of London - Hybrid (4 days in office)
£60-65k plus £4k Bonus
The Company:
My client are an international recruitment business with 5+offices across the UK, Europe and Asia is looking for a new Global Head of L&D. The company has grown significantly across their main specialisms, spanning Insurance, Technology and Banking. The business has a proven track record of developing its people, having won prestigious training awards in consecutive years. Historically reliant on graduate hiring, the model has shifted to a 50/50 split with experienced hires, creating fresh challenges and opportunities for L&D. The incoming hire will take ownership of the global L&D strategy and delivery, particularly across London and Asia, while developing leadership programmes further.
The Role
This is a hands-on role, with scope to grow into a true global head position. Responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing the global L&D function.
- Managing and coaching a Senior L&D Consultant.
- Delivering and embedding programmes across the full career lifecycle:
- CDP – Consultant Development Programme (junior)
- SDP – Senior Development Programme
- MDP – Management Development Programme
- LDP – Leadership Development Programme
- Strengthening uptake and impact across different regions (notably Asia for leadership, EU for individual contributors).
- Facilitating, delivering, and refining training at all levels.
- Enhancing the Manager and Leadership development offering.
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 5 years’ L&D experience, ideally with international exposure.
- Strong facilitation and delivery skills across all levels, from juniors through to senior leaders.
- Proven experience line-managing at least one team member.
- Ability to engage senior stakeholders and adapt to different regional challenges.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and commercially minded.
