We’re looking for a Learning & Development Manager to lead the development of business professionals across Europe and Asia Pacific. This is a strategic, hands-on role, working closely with the Director of Learning & Development – Europe & Asia Pacific, alongside a high-performing and global team, to design and deliver learning experiences that make a meaningful difference.
Learning & Development Manager Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with key stakeholders to assess development needs and identify skills gaps among business professionals across the region
- Design effective and engaging learning solutions, using best practices in adult learning and instructional design
- Develop a range of learning formats including facilitator-led sessions, blended programmes, asynchronous content, simulations, knowledge checks, and assessments
- Deliver and facilitate select learning programmes to support individual growth and team performance
- Lead programme implementation, managing timelines, deliverables, and communication plans, while keeping stakeholders informed throughout
- Collaborate closely with Learning & Development colleagues globally to ensure consistency, alignment, and excellence in programme delivery
- Stay abreast of developments in professional development, learning technologies and instructional design trends
- Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and supporting their professional growth
Learning & Development Manager Skills & Requirements:
- Previous Learning & Development experience in a similar role within a large law firm
- Degree-qualified, with a minimum of 4 years’ experience designing and delivering learning and development programmes
- Strong experience consulting with internal or external stakeholders to identify learning needs and shape effective solutions
- Familiarity with behavioural assessment tools and how to integrate them into learning programmes would be highly advantageous
- Experience using learning management systems (such as Cornerstone)
- Experience working within a global team and across multiple time zones
