Global Head of Learning & Development

City of London - Hybrid (4 days in office)

£60-65k plus £4k Bonus

The Company:

My client are an international recruitment business with 5+offices across the UK, Europe and Asia is looking for a new Global Head of L&D. The company has grown significantly across their main specialisms, spanning Insurance, Technology and Banking. The business has a proven track record of developing its people, having won prestigious training awards in consecutive years. Historically reliant on graduate hiring, the model has shifted to a 50/50 split with experienced hires, creating fresh challenges and opportunities for L&D. The incoming hire will take ownership of the global L&D strategy and delivery, particularly across London and Asia, while developing leadership programmes further.

The Role

This is a hands-on role, with scope to grow into a true global head position. Responsibilities include:

Leading and developing the global L&D function.
Managing and coaching a Senior L&D Consultant.
Delivering and embedding programmes across the full career lifecycle:
CDP – Consultant Development Programme (junior)
SDP – Senior Development Programme
MDP – Management Development Programme
LDP – Leadership Development Programme
Strengthening uptake and impact across different regions (notably Asia for leadership, EU for individual contributors).
Facilitating, delivering, and refining training at all levels.
Enhancing the Manager and Leadership development offering.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 5 years’ L&D experience, ideally with international exposure.
Strong facilitation and delivery skills across all levels, from juniors through to senior leaders.
Proven experience line-managing at least one team member.
Ability to engage senior stakeholders and adapt to different regional challenges.
Hands-on, adaptable, and commercially minded.
