The Part-Time Program Associate supports the implementation and expansion of NFTE’s experiential entrepreneurship education within a designated region. This role contributes to the success of NFTE programs by engaging teachers, coordinating volunteers, supporting student activities, and activating local partnerships. Reporting to the Regional Executive Director, the Program Associate serves as a connector between educators, students, volunteers, and the broader NFTE team to ensure strong program delivery and impact.
Educator & Program Support
- Maintain regular communication with NFTE educators to provide ongoing support and technical assistance.
- Assist with teacher onboarding, training sessions, and professional development.
- Support classroom implementation, pitch events, and student experiences (in-person and virtual).
- Track program implementation metrics and learning outcomes aligned to regional/programmatic KPIs.
Volunteer Engagement
- Coordinate local volunteer participation in speaking, judging, mentoring, or coaching roles.
- Maintain accurate volunteer records and assist with outreach in partnership with NFTE’s Volunteer Team.
- Support local relationship-building with repeat volunteers and business partners.
School & Community Engagement
- Assist with onboarding new school partners and community-based organizations.
- Represent NFTE at regional events such as education fairs, pitch competitions, or community showcases.
- Support integration of entrepreneurship programming into schools and partner organizations.
Event Support
- Help plan and execute key program events including student pitch competitions, innovation challenges, and enrichment programs like BizCamps or Startup Summer.
- Ensure logistical readiness and collaborate with partners and educators to execute impactful experiences.
Data, Reporting & Operations
- Track and report on school sites, program activities, and volunteer participation.
- Submit weekly updates and monthly reports aligned to contract deliverables.
- Support use of tools like Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and NFTE’s digital curriculum platforms.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in education, nonprofit, youth programming, or related fields.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to travel around region for programmatic events.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365; experience with Salesforce or similar CRMs a plus.
- Familiarity with K–12 education or community-based programming preferred.
