Summary
The Professional Learning Specialist, Independent Contractor is responsible for delivering professional learning sessions to RoboKind partner districts and schools. This individual is passionate about educator learning and RoboKind program fidelity. They provide coaching for educators implementing our programs and proactively identify and communicate insights for improving our professional learning services and the partner experience in general.
This role is a contract, operating under a 1099 agreement.
Compensation
- $500 per onsite session
- $250 per virtual session
- RoboKind covers pre-approved travel expenses
Essential Duties And Responsibilities Of Professional Learning Specialist (IC)
- Deliver high-quality Professional Learning services grounded in the RoboKind framework for Educators (including coaching and ongoing PLC sessions) to schools and districts in their region using our program.
- Provide on-site guided support to educators (demonstration teaching, classroom observation, feedback discussions, etc.) as they explore different ways that they can strengthen learning relationships with students and families to support student social, behavioral, communication, and Phonics success.
- Collaborate with educators to set professional learning goals aligned to RoboKind's best practices for educators and collect data and evidence of progress towards those goals.
- Ensure proper tracking and documentation of all partnerships that have had professional learning delivered via the internal system (Hubspot CRM).
- Communicate experiences and feedback from the field to inform program and partnership development.
Minimum Qualifications And Competencies
- Experience in a previous EdTech organization, or other backgrounds in the autism and PK-12 industries (ie, teaching or administration)
- Proficiency in standard office software applications (ie, MS Office)
- Excellent presentation skills and ability to successfully initiate and maintain relationships with accounts
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a high level of confidence
- Creative thinking with the ability to resolve critical problems
- Self-starters who are focused and competitive as well as players with high energy
- Availability to travel onsite as needed to support RoboKind partners
- Ability to work in a remote environment
