We are working on a search for a Director of Learning & Development to lead the design and delivery of a global learning strategy. This role will play a key part in shaping how employees grow, lead, and thrive, ensuring that learning and development initiatives are aligned with business priorities and future capability needs. You will be responsible for auditing current programmes, identifying gaps, and creating a roadmap that supports leadership development, talent growth, and employee engagement across the globe.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the global L&D strategy and roadmap across leadership, management, and technical development.
- Audit current initiatives, consult with senior stakeholders, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design and deliver scalable learning solutions that balance strategic impact with practical application.
- Build frameworks, toolkits, and programmes to support employees at all stages of their careers.
- Partner with HR Directors, business leaders, and global colleagues to ensure alignment and adoption.
- Integrate DEI, mentoring, and AI-driven learning practices into development solutions.
- Manage external vendors, budgets, and programme delivery with a focus on ROI and engagement.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, able to influence, challenge, and gain buy-in.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of L&D experience, with at least 4 years in a strategic or leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of developing and scaling L&D programmes across multiple regions.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and influencing senior leadership.
- Background in fast-paced, high-growth, or digital/tech-driven organisations.
- Demonstrated experience balancing strategy with hands-on programme delivery.
- Exposure to DEI-focused learning initiatives and leadership enablement.
- Pragmatic, results-driven approach with the ability to adapt and pivot in changing environments.
- Worked in a tech focussed and scalable environment.
