Responsibilities
Oversee all professional learning operations, including agency wide staff training programs, survey compliance, accreditation mandates, and career-aligned professional development. Ensure that all learning initiatives meet regulatory standards, support continuous staff growth, and align with organizational strategy. Lead the evaluation and refinement of training efforts to maintain quality, effectiveness, and relevance across the organization. Design, develop, and deliver engaging, research-informed learning experiences across formats (in-person, virtual, hybrid, and self-paced). Implement best practices in adult learning theory, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and inclusive pedagogy to ensure equitable access and application. Leverage artificial intelligence, multimedia production, and dynamic e-learning authoring tools to produce high-quality training experiences. Lead the creation of microlearning, just-in-time learning, and competency-based pathways aligned with strategic priorities. Re-envision and modernize the professional learning infrastructure, aligning tools, curriculum, and delivery models to organizational goals. Build scalable systems for curriculum development, content lifecycle management, training evaluation, and data-informed decision-making. Advance internal capacity by strengthening leadership pipelines, standardizing training procedures, and embedding accountability. Design and oversee leadership development programs that identify, support, and promote high-potential staff for succession into key roles. Facilitate coaching, mentoring, and cohort-based academies that foster talent development, inclusion, and organizational continuity. Align development pathways with organizational competencies and leadership frameworks. Oversee the administration, optimization, and reporting of the Learning Management System (LMS). Utilize robust analytics and Excel modeling to track participation, learning outcomes, and return on investment. Manage data integrity across systems, including integration with FileMaker or other databases. Lead all aspects of conference planning, including content curation, speaker coordination, logistics, and attendee experience. Host engaging live presentations and webinars that reflect excellence in adult facilitation and subject matter expertise. Directly supervise instructional designers, content developers, and department staff. Manage budgets, allocate resources strategically, and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effective delivery of programs. Analyze engagement data and learner feedback to optimize outreach and learner impact. Developing interactive eLearning with eLearning authoring tools (i.e., Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe products: InDesign, Illustrator, PhotoShop, Adobe Captivate,) Adhering to visual design principles, multimedia learning principles, and user experience design best practices.
Salary: $80000 - $90000 per year
