Position Overview: The Associate Director, Learning & Development will lead learning initiatives, programs, and projects within BORKP. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training and development programs across the 800 employees within BarkleyOKRP. The successful candidate will have a passion for talent development, coaching, and fostering a culture of continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Learning & Development Strategy:
- Conduct needs assessments to enhance employee performance and career growth.
- Identify and integrate best practices in adult learning theory and instructional design.
- Develop and implement training programs aligned with business objectives.
- Utilize the ADDIE model to design, develop, and evaluate training programs.
- Apply Kirkpatrick's Model and Bloom's Taxonomy to measure training effectiveness and ensure learning objectives are met.
Program & Content Development:
- Design and develop learning activities, instructor guides, and lesson plans for employees at all levels.
- Create and implement leadership development initiatives to strengthen the talent pipeline.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through data-driven assessments and employee feedback.Stakeholder Management, Coaching & Presentation:
- Act as an advisor to management, providing guidance on performance and leadership development.
- Partner with senior leadership to align L&D initiatives with business goals.
- Develop leaders through coaching and training programs.
- Present training content effectively to all levels of employees, from entry-level to executive leadership.
- Measurement & Analytics:
- Use Kirkpatrick's Four Levels of Evaluation to assess program impact.
- Measure and analyze training outcomes, adjusting programs accordingly.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- This role may or may not have direct reports, but will be responsible for project leadership and stakeholder management.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5-7 years in Learning & Organizational Development or HR-related field, including 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, I/O Psychology, Psychology, Education, or equivalent experience.
- Strong expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design, and coaching.
- Experience with Kirkpatrick's Model, Bloom's Taxonomy, and ADDIE instructional design model.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and multimedia training platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
The annual gross base salary range is $87,000 - $109,000 USD. This range represents the anticipated target salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and geographic location. Salary is one component of BarkleyOKRP's total compensation package, which includes multiple health insurance options, flexible PTO, life insurance, and 401K.
