Role Purpose
The
Learning Systems Manager is responsible for the implementation, management, and continuous improvement of Presight’s learning technologies and digital development solutions. The role combines technical system ownership, data-driven insights, communication, and training delivery to enable impactful employee development and future skills growth across the organisation.
Working closely with key stakeholders across HR, IT, and business units, the Learning Systems Manager will lead the design and roll-out of learning platforms, ensure effective communication and engagement strategies, and provide data analysis to measure learning effectiveness and inform strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Learning Systems & Platform Management
- Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of learning management systems (LMS) and other digital learning platforms.
- Act as system owner, coordinating with IT, vendors, and internal teams to ensure platforms are fit for purpose, user-friendly, and fully operational.
- Ensure integration with existing HR systems and support future scalability and digital learning innovation.
Data-Driven Decision Making & Reporting
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear learning and development insights to HR and senior leadership.
- Analyse learning data to identify trends, measure impact, and inform continuous improvement of development programmes.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for learning adoption, engagement, completion, and outcomes.
Communications & Launch Planning
- Design and deliver communication plans to successfully launch learning platforms, tools, and initiatives to employees.
- Partner with internal communications and marketing teams to create engaging content and messaging that drives adoption and engagement.
- Develop toolkits, guides, and other resources to support managers and employees in accessing and utilising learning solutions.
Training Delivery & Enablement
- Deliver system training and user education sessions to employees, managers, and HR teams to support the effective use of learning platforms.
- Facilitate or coordinate additional training initiatives as required, including digital skills, onboarding, and platform refreshers.
- Create self-directed training materials, including how-to guides, videos, and FAQs.
Stakeholder & Project Management
- Lead learning technology projects end-to-end, ensuring delivery on time, on scope, and on budget.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners, business leaders, IT, and external vendors to ensure alignment and successful implementation.
- Maintain a clear roadmap of learning system enhancements and new digital learning initiatives.
- Comply with QHSE (Quality Health Safety and Environment), Business Continuity, Information Security, Privacy, Risk, Compliance Management and Governance of Organizations policies, procedures, plans and related risk assessments.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Digital Media, IT, or a related field.
- Proven experience in implementing and managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) or equivalent digital learning platforms.
- Strong data management, analysis, and reporting skills, including advanced Excel and dashboard creation (Power BI or similar desirable).
- Demonstrable experience in developing and delivering communication and engagement plans for employee-facing initiatives.
- Strong facilitation and training delivery skills for both systems and learning content.
- Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Experience in a technology-led or digital-first environment is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on user experience and engagement.
- An interest in learning innovation, future skills, and the use of technology to enable workforce development.
