Our in-house design departments include Architecture, Interior Design and Experiential Graphic Design. In addition, we have a Digital Practice Department, who commits to the implementation of BIM, research + development, and the infusion of cutting-edge technology into our projects and practice.
Who Are We Looking For
As the Learning and Development Specialist, you support individual and studio-wide growth by contributing to the development and execution of impactful learning programs. You assist in delivering engaging initiatives grounded in adult learning principles and educational theory. You enhance our collective expertise and reinforce the studio’s commitment to continuous improvement, contributing significantly to the success of our learning and development initiatives.
What You Will Do
- Support the design, development, and successful implementation of the Studio’s Academy and other learning initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Manager, Learning and Development, leadership, and stakeholders to align learning efforts with Studio’s vision and business objectives.
- Provide project management and effective implementation of workflows and policies related to learning programs.
- Plan, facilitate, and execute the studio-wide events to launch learning initiatives.
- Design, develop and deliver Learning and Development onboarding training for new Studio Members.
- Conduct needs assessments using various methods (interviews, surveys, groups discussions, forms) to support alignment of educational initiatives with the identified needs.
- Support the creation of new and maintenance of existing content for the Studio’s learning community on the intranet.
- Support internal and external instructors to develop and deliver learning material.
- Design and analyze program evaluation reports to continuously evolve Learning and Development programs and initiatives.
What You Will Bring
- Graduate Degree or a Graduate Certificate in Education, Adult Learning, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience developing and executing learning and development programs, using adult learning principles, within a corporate or professional setting.
- Proficiency in instructional design, adult learning principles, and program evaluation methods.
- Skilled in project management and time management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
- Familiarity with the latest trends and technologies in learning and development.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems is considered an asset.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid role, with 3 days in the studio.
