Job Summary:
The Learning & Development Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of the organization’s learning and development initiatives. This role is key in driving employee engagement, performance enhancement, and aligning workforce capability with business objectives. The role entails designing and implementing individualized learning paths, fostering a culture of continuous learning, and ensuring operational excellence through innovative learning solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Initiatives:
- Develop and implement a long-term learning roadmap aligned with organizational goals.
- Establish the L&D function as a center for innovation and best practices.
- Design personalized learning journeys based on organizational and business needs.
Operational Excellence:
- Expand the learning services portfolio with innovative and scalable offerings.
- Develop and deliver customized corporate training programs.
- Drive LMS implementation and global adoption.
Team Development:
- Customize team learning strategies and drive employee engagement through forums, webinars, and knowledge-sharing platforms.
- Build a network of internal learning champions.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Promote cross-functional collaboration and knowledge exchange.
- Foster a high-performance team culture aligned with organizational values.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business (mandatory)
- CIPD Level 5 in Learning & Development (preferred)
- Certified Coach or equivalent (preferred)
- Minimum 5 years in L&D/Training roles, ideally within Facilities Management, Projects, Real Estate, or Construction sectors
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of L&D frameworks and methodologies
- Proficiency in performance management and analytics
- Ability to establish Centers of Excellence and knowledge-sharing platforms
- Leadership experience in team development and coaching
- Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and learning technologies
