Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and engaging Sales Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and performance of our inside sales team. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, utilize learning technologies, and foster an environment of continuous improvement. The Sales Trainer will play a crucial role in shaping the sales culture and driving results through effective training methodologies.
Duties
- Demonstrate ability to drive sales and a sales culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Understand all lead sources and help determine the best way to train representatives to optimize the throughput of each source.
- Assist sales leadership with identifying and interviewing potential candidates for sales roles ensuring the recruitment of talent that “get-it”, “want-it” and are “highly capable” of fulfilling the role.
- Coordinate and facilitate new hire training and onboarding activities that align with the Essential Engine approach to marketing and our problem-solution best practices selling approach.
- Conduct ongoing sales call reviews and coaching and feedback to help drive continuous improvement.
- Celebrate sales successes and facilitate sales rep discussions in sales meetings and other settings to help evolve best practices for handling objections, satisfying client objectives, and growing sales.
- Gather feedback and data to improve training curriculum, processes, and best practices.
- Partner with sales and marketing leadership and other departments to ensure training content (including product benefit talking points, scripts, objection handling, etc.) is correct and relevant.
- Regularly review and update training content and libraries based on participant feedback, best practices, and emerging technologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in delivering training programs in a corporate environment which leads to improved results.
- Familiarity with human resources processes, including employee evaluation methods.
- Familiar with tracking training progress and employee development metrics.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using learning technologies and tools to enhance training delivery.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
