POSITION SUMMARY: The Learning and Development Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the Learning Management System (LMS), including user management, course uploads, tracking training completion, generating reports, and resolving technical issues. The Learning and Development Coordinator works closely with the L&D team, subject matter experts (SMEs), and employees to support learning initiatives at all levels, to ensure training is delivered efficiently and compliance is maintained.
RESPONSIBILITIES – Satisfactorily performing and/or achieving the following Responsibilities are essential duties of the job.
- Update and maintain the LMS platform, including user roles, permissions, and settings.
- Maintain course catalogs, user profiles, and system documentation.
- Provide training, technical support, and troubleshooting for LMS users, including students, instructors, and administrators.
- Set up courses and training programs within the LMS, ensuring that all required content, assessments, and materials are available.
- Upload, organize, and manage digital learning content, such as e-learning modules, videos, and assessments.
- Monitor LMS usage and generate reports on learner progress and system activity.
- Assist in the creation of custom reports to support learning and development objectives.
- Ensure all training materials and content within the LMS meet company standards and compliance requirements.
- Manage version control of controlled documents, course materials and ensure updates are properly implemented.
- Track and manage certifications, licenses, and other compliance-related training.
- Provides logistical, planning, technical, and service support for learning programs and events including but not limited to recurring annual training and departmental training.
- Manage Learning and Development calendar, schedule annual compliance training.
- Track department expenses, create purchase orders, ensure all purchasing card receipts are accounted for and receipts are submitted by the due date.
- Support new-hire onboarding.
- Actively participate in all required training and development programs and electives as may suit one’s needs, and support colleagues, trainers, and management as appropriate with these efforts.

What You Need
- Experience and/or Education : Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in BSc/BA in Business, or Human Resources. Two (2) years of LMS or similar system experience required. Two (2) years administrative support experience.
- Proficient use of computers and software required to accomplish the responsibilities of the job. Strong Microsoft office experience required. Proficient in Excel.
