Our client is seeking a creative and business-minded
Learning Systems & Content Specialist to help build and enhance employee learning and development programs across a growing organization. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing training content, supporting operational excellence, and implementing scalable learning systems that drive employee success and organizational growth.
Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
- Collaborate with business leaders, managers, and subject matter experts to identify training and development needs.
- Develop engaging learning materials including e-learning modules, training guides, SOPs, process documentation, videos, assessments, and microlearning content.
- Design practical and effective learning experiences that support employee onboarding, operational consistency, and performance improvement.
- Support the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of a Learning Management System (LMS).
- Create and maintain onboarding programs, compliance training, and role-specific learning pathways.
- Monitor learner engagement, completion metrics, and training effectiveness through reporting and analytics.
- Partner cross-functionally to identify training gaps and support change management initiatives.
- Recommend improvements to learning content, delivery methods, and learning technologies.
- Stay current on instructional design best practices, learning technologies, and digital learning trends.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Your strengths include:
- 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Training, LMS Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience creating training content from concept through implementation.
- Strong ability to gather information from stakeholders and translate it into engaging, effective learning materials.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and multitasking abilities.
- High level of technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems and technologies.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS) would be considered an asset.
- Experience supporting LMS implementations or learning technology projects would be considered an asset.
- Experience with ADP or other HRIS platforms would be considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, Camtasia, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content development tools would be considered an asset.
- Experience within retail, manufacturing, customer-facing, or multi-site environments would be considered an asset.
