Our client is seeking a Senior Learning and Development Specialist to join their team.
The Senior Learning & Development Specialist leads the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide learning and leadership development programs that strengthen organizational capability and support business objectives. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy, managing end-to-end learning initiatives, advising leaders on talent development strategies, and integrating learning programs with broader Talent Management processes. The position also plays a key role in annual talent processes including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise learning and development programs.
- Develop learning roadmaps aligned with business priorities and organizational capability needs.
- Assess skills gaps and recommend scalable learning solutions.
- Manage complex learning initiatives across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
- Facilitate learning programs, workshops, and leadership development initiatives.
- Lead annual Talent Management processes, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development activities.
- Partner with HR leaders, HR Business Partners, and business leaders to identify development needs.
- Provide consulting and recommendations on learning strategies and talent development solutions.
- Ensure learning initiatives support broader organizational and talent objectives.
- Oversee Learning Management System (LMS) administration and related processes.
- Monitor learning compliance, participation, and effectiveness metrics.
- Develop and maintain learning analytics and reporting to support business decisions.
- Utilize feedback, data, and industry best practices to enhance learning programs.
- Introduce innovative learning methodologies, digital learning solutions, and blended learning approaches.
- Improve learner engagement and program effectiveness through technology and data-driven insights.
- Manage 1 direct report.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field required; Master's degree is considered a strong asset.
- 5-7+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related discipline.
- Must have experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-level learning and leadership development programs.
- Experience supporting global or multi-regional organizations is preferred.
- Expertise in instructional design and facilitation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and business partnering capabilities.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with experience measuring program effectiveness and reporting outcomes.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with leaders at various organizational levels.
