Job Profile: Learning and Development Manager, Senior

Job Responsibilities: The Learning and Development Manager, Senior, plays a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of employees at ViaPlus. They are responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive learning strategies aligned with company goals, ensuring a skilled and engaged workforce. This position has a global scope, with learning and development responsibilities for employees in the United States, Ireland, and India.

Develop and implement learning and development strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
Design and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
Identify training needs through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
Collaborate with HR Director on Workforce Analytics to determine workforce-skill alignment.
Collaborate with departmental managers to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training solutions.
Oversee the creation and delivery of training materials, including e-learning modules, workshops, and presentations.
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and development.
Manage the learning management system (LMS) and other training platforms.
Provide coaching and mentorship to employees to support their professional development.
Collaborate with external vendors and training partners as needed.
Track and report on training metrics, including participation rates, feedback, and outcomes.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies and innovative learning solutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.
Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience in learning and development or related fields.
Strong understanding of learning theories and instructional design principles.
Experience designing and delivering training programs across various formats and platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in learning management systems and other training tools.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Work Environment:The work environment is typical of an office setting, with occasional travel required. The employee will primarily work on a computer and may occasionally lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
