Participate in meaningful work
As a Training and Adoption Specialist with the Enterprise Technology and Transformation (ETT) team you will play a key role in enabling the effective use of technology across the Legislative Assembly Office (LAO). You will design and deliver adoption, learning and enablement strategies that support Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs), caucus offices, constituency offices and LAO staff in using enterprise tools and services. Your work will directly support digital transformation by ensuring technology solutions are seamlessly embedded into day-to-day operations, improving productivity and delivering measurable organizational value. Working alongside internal clients, you will provide guidance on learning and adoption strategies, support the effective use of learning platforms and help branches develop and sustain their own learning content and programs.
Contribute to an engaged workplace
You will bring your expertise in adult learning, instructional design and technology adoption to collaborate closely with Information Technology Services (ITS) and stakeholders across the organization. By building strong relationships and understanding user needs, you will design practical, accessible learning experiences that support sustained adoption of enterprise tools.
Your ability to assess adoption readiness, develop targeted training strategies and provide coaching and guidance will help build a digitally capable and confident workforce. Through the development of Communities of Practice, self-service resources and enterprise learning materials, you will contribute to a collaborative, innovative and service-focused workplace.
Bring your excellence to the LAO
Your background includes a related postsecondary degree in education, adult learning or a related discipline along with a minimum of five years of experience developing and delivering training for enterprise applications. You have demonstrated expertise in instructional design, technical training and learning technologies, supported by strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and emerging AI-enabled tools.
You bring experience working with learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms and content-authoring tools along with an understanding of change-enablement practices that support adoption and new ways of working. Your ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and collaborate effectively will be key to your success in this role.
Candidates with lesser qualifications may be considered for opportunities at a lower salary.
