.Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Learning and Development team in the role of Senior Learning Technology Consultant. This position is full-time with a hybrid work schedule of 2 days in office a week located in Indianapolis, IN.
Our Ideal Candidate would have:
- A background in navigating large, highly matrixed, and complex organizational environments.
- Prepare, validate, and maintain learning data from multiple sources to support the development of Power BI dashboards and reporting for learner participation and completion metrics.
- Drive advancement in learning technologies by identifying and implementing AI and emerging technology solutions to modernize and elevate learner engagement.
- A proactive problem solver with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
Role Responsibilities
- Analyzes data and creates reports/dashboards.
- Maintains data integrity in order to facilitate reporting.
- Serves as the technical expert in learning systems including the Learning Management System, social learning platforms, content management systems, and performance support systems for IU Health.
- Designs, plans, innovates, implements, and manages the day-to-day operation of learning systems.
- Performs troubleshooting and leads problem-solving efforts involving vendors and other support personnel.
- Establishes and manages complex user accounts, groups, and learning experience journeys.
- Maintains security compliance and protects systems from unauthorized use.
- Ensures availability and optimal performance according to Service Level Objectives.
Candidate Qualifications
Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.
- A background in navigating large, highly matrixed, and complex organizational environments is required.
- Experience with PowerBI or other data analytics tools is required.
- Ability to build structure around large, complex and changing programs (e.g. learning paths, curriculums and user learning journeys) is required.
- 5-7 years of related Learning Management System (LMS) experience is required , Oracle Learn is a plus .
- Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Computer Technology, related field of study, or equivalent years of experience is required.
- Knowledge of database management and logic workflows is required.
- Experience using advanced features in Microsoft Excel is required.
- Experience in project management and agile processes is a plus.
- Understanding of current digital instructional design best practices, user design experience, and adult learning principles is required.
