About the Role
The Sr Manager, Learning & Development is a key member of the L&D team responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting leadership development and coaching solutions across the organization. This role partners with Talent Management, HR, and business leaders to build leadership capability, confidence, and a positive culture through effective learning programs, facilitation, and coaching experiences.
Responsibilities
Leadership Development & Program Design
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify leadership development and coaching needs across the organization
- Design and deliver leadership development and coaching solutions, programs, tools, and resources, including formal learning programs, experiential learning, and blended learning experiences
- Manage leadership development and coaching programs from end-to-end, including communication, facilitation, and program analysis
- Continuously evaluate and refine solutions to ensure they remain relevant, effective, and leveraged across the organization
- Identify innovative and cost-effective approaches to leadership development and coaching
- Partner with and manage external vendors as needed
Program Execution & Continuous Improvement
- Use data and trends to measure impact, identify opportunities, and continuously improve learning experiences
- Stay current on leadership development and coaching trends, tools, and best practices and apply relevant insights to program design
- Plan, organize, and execute tasks and activities with urgency and strong attention to detail
- Collaborate with team and department members to complete tasks, support shared priorities, and meet timelines
- Partner with others to solve business problems and execute on leadership development initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and facilitating leadership development programs, ideally in a fast-paced organization with a distributed workforce
- Understanding of adult learning theories, principles, and methodologies
- Knowledge and experience with assessments and coaching practices; coaching and assessment certifications a plus
- Well-versed in digital learning, just-in-time, and blended learning strategies
- Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design, including developing learning materials, participant resources, and in-person and digital learning assets; proficiency with Rise 360
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
- Flexibility and agility to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Zoom
- Ability to travel as needed
