This role offers a starting salary within Nacro’s pay structure of £37,581 with expected progression to £38,708 within the first year, subject to meeting clear criteria and performance standards, with further pay progression available in the future. We're looking for an experienced and innovative Learning & Development Specialist - Digital to help transform learning across Nacro.
This is an exciting opportunity for a learning professional specialising in digital learning design, with excellent facilitation skills. You’ll create impactful learning experiences that build capability, strengthen skills, and enhance leadership performance, supporting operational effectiveness that enable our people to transform the lives of our service users.
Working within our Talent & Development team, you'll design and deliver impactful learning solutions, champion digital learning innovation, and help foster a culture of continuous development.
As our Learning & Development Specialist - Digital, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Designing and delivering engaging learning programmes across classroom, virtual, digital, and blended formats.
- Developing interactive e-learning content and learning pathways using digital authoring tools.
· Support and optimise the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring a seamless learner experience.
- Partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to identify learning needs and create practical development solutions.
- Staying at the forefront of learning technologies, digital innovation, and L&D best practice.
You’ll be someone who can:
- Design and deliver digital, virtual, classroom, and blended learning solutions for adult learners.
- Facilitate leadership, management, and professional development programmes.
- Manage and enhance learning technologies, including LMS/LXP platforms.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and influencing at all levels.
- Deliver excellent facilitation, communication, and coaching skills with a collaborative and consultative approach.
- Offer strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Interview process: The interview process consists of two in-person stages, both of which will take place at our head office in Birmingham.
- Stage 1: Scheduled for Thursday 23rd July 2026. This stage will last approximately 90 minutes and will include a 60-minute interview followed by a short presentation.
- Stage 2: Scheduled for Wednesday 29th July 2026. This stage will last approximately 90 minutes and will consist of a Learning & Development facilitation exercise, followed by an interview-based discussion and questions.
