Role Description
This full-time work from home role for an Instructional Designer is located in Calgary, AB. The Instructional Designer will be responsible for analyzing training needs, designing instructional materials, developing curriculum, and implementing learning solutions that align with organizational goals. The role also involves managing and optimizing learning systems, conducting evaluations to improve training effectiveness, and fostering a culture of growth through innovative development initiatives.
Qualifications
- A strong grasp of needs analysis — you can assess training requirements and connect them to broader organizational goals.
- Instructional design and curriculum development experience, with a focus on creating learning that's engaging and genuinely effective.
- Expertise in adult learning concepts, engagement and design thinking.
- Solid project management skills and a collaborative approach, with the ability to work across teams and bring programs to successful completion.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt as project needs and priorities shift.
- Experience in professional development or corporate training in comparable industries is an asset.
- Design, and design tool experience an asset.
