We are looking for an inspiring and driven Learning & Development Advisor to join our central support function at our landmark 22 Bishopsgate property. This unique role spans across four incredible spaces: Lucky Cat, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High, and our Academy. As the L&D Advisor for Bread Street Kitchen 22 Bishopsgate, you will own the development agenda on-site. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our front-of-house and back-of-house teams are fully upskilled, confident, and empowered to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, manage and deliver the Team Member Welcome events and management onboarding, ensuring every new starter has an inspiring start to their journey with us.
- Deliver active, in-the-moment coaching to team members to elevate service speed, product knowledge and guest engagement.
- Facilitate dynamic service workshops, product training, and systems training. Manage and design continuous improvement tools via our Learning Management System (LMS), including microlearning, videos and how-to guides.
- Collaborate with People and Operational teams to identify learning gaps through observation, guest feedback and training needs analysis.
- Partner with the wider L&D team to champion the Gordon Ramsay Apprenticeship Program within 22 Bishopsgate, building a strong pipeline of future hospitality stars.
- Track and maintain accurate training records, regularly reporting on learning compliance to the Head of L&D, People Director and Operations Manager.
About You:
- Proven experience working within premium or fine-dining hospitality environments.
- Strong experience in conducting training needs analyses, as well as designing and delivering both face-to-face and digital learning interventions.
- Experience managing a Learning Management System (LMS) and a strong working knowledge of HR/Learning systems.
- Exceptional facilitation and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and support management teams.
- Self-motivated, attentive to detail, calm under pressure, and brilliantly well-presented as an external face of the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants brand.
