What To Expect
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Learning & Development Specialist to support our scaling Supply Chain Organization by overseeing and conducting employee training and development activities. You will be part of a team that focuses on driving efficiency and scalability of Tesla’s global Supply Chain Organization. A successful candidate will have experience creating immersive, engaging, and effective blended learning experiences. They will have strong organizational skills to scope, design, develop, launch, and analyze the effectiveness of learning content. The role will facilitate training for our global supply chain teams and hence requires excellent interpersonal, communication, as well as presentation skills.
What You'll Do
Identify and assess future and current training needs for Tesla’s Supply Chain organization through employee feedback and process issue analysesPrepare training plans that address needs and expectations of supply chain teams in varying rolesProactively review and contribute to supply chain’s global employee learning and development strategyDocument and maintain training guides and templates for online and offline trainingFacilitate live training sessions through an interactive and engaging training planResolve specific workflow problems through tailored training programs as necessaryTroubleshoot and resolve learner issues in the LMS and other systems. Maintain a keen understanding of training trends and best practices
What You'll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Supply Chain, evidence of exceptional ability, or equivalent experience5+ years of learning and development experience, preferably in Supply Chain and/or corporate environmentProven ability to close skill gaps and drive meaningful behavioral change by effectively applying adult learning principles in a corporate environment. Deep understanding of Adult Learning TheoryStrong analytical skills to conduct training needs assessments and measure the impact and effectiveness of learning programsExcellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills. Strong writing and record keeping ability for training materialsAbility to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively. High proficiency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Experience with eLearning authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar preferredDemonstrated experience developing self-paced blended learning experiences, storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, and assessments

Expected Compensation
$84,000 - $144,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
