We are looking for a Learning & Development (L&D) Advisor to join our Learning & Development function, supporting the effective coordination, delivery and continuous enhancement of learning and professional development across the firm.
The Learning & Development function plays a key role in building capability at all levels of the organisation. Working closely with colleagues across the wider business, the L&D Advisor will support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning activities aligned to the firm’s strategic and regulatory requirements.
This is a fast-paced environment where strong organisational skills, attention to detail, curiosity and a proactive mindset are essential. The role requires a collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders, including Partners, managers and external providers.
The role
The Learning & Development Advisor will support the planning, coordination and delivery of learning and development activity across the firm.
The role requires strong organisational capability, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. The L&D Advisor will work closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to help ensure learning activity is delivered efficiently, professionally and in line with business needs.
Learning & Development responsibilities
- Support the coordination of course enrolment, attendance tracking and completion records to ensure accurate and timely reporting
- Act as a key contact for external training providers, supporting course logistics, scheduling and invoicing processes
- Maintain and update content within learning systems and digital platforms, ensuring clear and effective communication across the firm
- Assist in planning, scheduling and coordinating internal and external learning interventions
- Support the design, delivery and continuous improvement of learning initiatives, programmes and development pathways
- Contribute to the planning and delivery of firmwide induction and onboarding programmes
- Ensure learning documentation, guidance materials and records are accurate, up to date and compliant
- Support the delivery of skills and professional development sessions (virtual and in-person)
- Collaborate with the wider People team to deliver a consistent and high-quality service
- Assist in maintaining the Learning & Development calendar, supporting effective forward planning
- Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and provide responsive L&D support
Data & Reporting
- Maintain accurate learning documentation, guidance and resources on the intranet and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Support the integrity of learning data within the LMS, including course setup, attendance and completion records
- Assist with the preparation of People and L&D reports using LMS and other data sources
- Prepare routine learning-related communications and reports for stakeholders
- Maintain clear and auditable records to support regulatory and internal reporting requirements
- Use learning data and feedback to support continuous improvement of programmes and delivery
Idea Generation, Learning Technology & Continuous Improvement
- Contribute ideas to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the firm’s L&D offering
- Support the use of learning technologies, including LMS and digital learning platforms
- Assist in maintaining and improving digital learning content and resources
- Stay informed of learning trends and best practice, sharing insights with the wider team
- Support improvements to learning content, delivery methods and learner experience
- Contribute to the development of blended and digital learning solutions
You will have
- Experience in a Learning & Development, People or similar support/coordination role
- Experience working in a professional services or fast-paced environment (desirable)
- A basic understanding of Learning & Development processes and systems
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and willingness to learn
What you’ll need to succeed
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple learning activities
- Experience supporting learning operations, programme delivery or digital learning
- Familiarity with learning systems (LMS) and learner administration
- Exposure to digital authoring tools (e.g. Articulate Storyline/Rise) is advantageous
- High attention to detail, particularly in maintaining learning data and documentation
- Good planning and prioritisation skills
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset
