ARC Academy | Senior Trainer & Course Developer
This role is not for most trainers.
ARC Academy teaches complex business and accounting concepts, including insurance statutory accounting, in a way people actually understand and remember. We are looking for a highly engaging trainer who can learn unfamiliar material quickly and deliver an exceptional course experience.
You do NOT need to already be a deep statutory accounting expert.
What matters more is this:
- Can you walk into a dry topic, learn it fast, and teach it clearly and confidently?
- Can you hold a room without sounding robotic, corporate, or scripted?
- Can you make difficult material engaging?
Our SMEs and AI tools help build the technical content. Your role is to:
- structure and improve the learning experience
- facilitate live training sessions
- keep learners engaged
- simplify difficult concepts
- help develop and refine courses
You are not expected to answer complex technical questions live. Our SMEs will handle follow-up answers after the course.
We are looking for someone who:
- is naturally engaging
- knows how adults learn
- can explain complex ideas clearly
- reads the room well
- adapts in real time
- takes ownership when a course is not landing
Strong pluses:
- insurance statutory accounting exposure
- accounting or finance background
- instructional design experience
- corporate training experience
This role is NOT a fit if you are:
- monotone or low-energy
- overly corporate or stiff
- dependent on slides
- unable to hold attention in a room

Pay: $40.00 - $150.00 per hour
