A wellâestablished organisation operating within a regulated financial services environment is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to deliver structured, learnerâcentric training interventions across branch and corporate environments.
Step Into a HandsâOn Learning and Development Role: This is a practical L&D role suited to a facilitator who thrives on engagement, influence, and visible impact. You will play a key role in onboarding, earlyâcareer development, and complianceâdriven learning, while partnering closely with line managers, learners, and external stakeholders.
A strong facilitation style, organisation, and passion for development are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate structured learning interventions across faceâtoâface, virtual, and blended formats in a regulated environment
- Translate financial services compliance frameworks (FAIS, POPIA, FIC Act, NCA, and TCF) into clear, learnerâfriendly content
- Support earlyâcareer development initiatives, including onboarding, learnerships, internships, and workplace readiness programmes
- Drive behavioural change through coaching, followâup interventions, and applied workplace learning
- Maintain accurate training records and reporting aligned to SETA, WSP, ATR, and BâBBEE requirements
Who Should Apply?:
- Matric (NQF 4) and National Diploma ODEDTP (Level 5 minimum); Degree in HR, Business, or a related field advantageous
- 1–4 years’ experience in facilitation, assessment, or learning delivery within financial services or a regulated environment
- Practical exposure to learning design and structured training programmes
- Strong administration, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Confident, energetic communicator with a learnerâcentric and handsâon approach
