Job Type: Remote Contractor on Commission pay for each driver recruited
Trucking industry experience required — recruiting or dispatch background preferred
We are seeking a Truck Driver Recruiter with proven experience recruiting CDL-A drivers. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and understands the fast-paced nature of the trucking industry. Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage job postings across multiple platforms to attract new drivers
- Source qualified driver candidates using various recruitment methods (job boards, social media, referrals, etc.)
- Screen applicants to ensure they meet safety and reliability standards
- Conduct phone interviews to assess qualifications and fit
- Review MVRs, PSP reports, and safety history to verify driver eligibility
- Guide new drivers through the onboarding process, including applications and contracts
- Ensure new hires understand company policies, pay structures, and expectations
- Maintain an organized database of applicants and follow up with potential future candidates
- Build and manage a waitlist of pre-qualified drivers for upcoming openings
Qualifications:
- Experience recruiting CDL truck drivers required
- Strong understanding of DOT compliance, MVRs, and PSP reports
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet hiring goals
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and CRM tools is a plus
