JOB DESCRIPTION
The Learning Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering effective learning experiences that drive employee capability, digital adoption, and organizational readiness. This role partners closely with cross‑functional stakeholders to assess training needs, build scalable learning programs, and support workforce transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate brings expertise in adult learning, change enablement, and continuous improvement to ensure that teams successfully adopt new tools, processes, and ways of working. Key Responsibilities (Day-to-Day) Learning Design & Development Conduct needs assessments, skills gap analyses, and learner readiness evaluations to identify training requirements. Design and develop learning content such as job aids, facilitator guides, e‑learning modules, video tutorials, and interactive workshops. Use instructional design best practices and modern learning methodologies (microlearning, blended learning, scenario‑based learning, etc.). Build curriculum and learning pathways that support upskilling, reskilling, and workforce transformation. Training Delivery & Facilitation Facilitate live classroom, virtual, and hybrid training sessions for diverse learner groups. Lead stakeholder and learner engagement sessions to gather feedback, adjust curriculum, and drive adoption. Provide coaching to change champions, managers, and project teams on new processes or systems. Digital Adoption & Change Enablement Support enterprise technology rollouts by creating training aligned to new systems, tools, and workflows. Conduct impact assessments and identify training implications for new technology or process changes. Promote learning engagement through gamification, communication campaigns, and tailored enablement plans. Track learner proficiency and adoption metrics using analytics dashboards. Program Management & Continuous Improvement Maintain project plans, timelines, and documentation for all learning initiatives. Collaborate with HR, Operations, IT, and PMO teams to ensure learning programs align with organizational priorities. Create evaluation tools and dashboards to measure training effectiveness, ROI, and behavior change. Continuously refine learning programs based on data analysis, learner feedback, and business needs.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3–5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Training Facilitation, or a related discipline. Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, ADDIE, SAM, or similar instructional design frameworks. Experience designing and delivering training for system implementations, technology rollouts, or process transformation. Ability to translate complex technical or operational content into clear, learner‑friendly materials. Skilled in facilitation across virtual, in‑person, and hybrid environments. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence and engage at all levels. Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver video‑led learning, including scriptwriting, production, editing, and publishing. Proficiency with video production and learning content tools, such as: Adobe Premiere Pro Adobe After Effects Camtasia.
