We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Learning & Engagement Specialist to join our People and Culture team.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture Programs, the Learning & Engagement Specialist will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to elevate the employee experience. This encompasses enhancing the whole employee lifecycle, cultivating a culture of continuous learning, creating ongoing employee communications, championing collaboration, and driving recognition efforts.
Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
- Developing, implementing an employee engagement framework and executing strategies and initiatives within the plan.
- Procuring, implementing, and overseeing the delivery of learning and development programs and content aimed at improving employee skills using a variety of learning delivery models, including e-learning.
- Designing employee communication initiatives for People & Culture and other internal departments, and creating impactful content to foster inclusion, engagement, learning and connection among employees.
- Creating and managing employee events, activities, team-building initiatives and recognition programs to cultivate a positive work environment, reinforce team relationships, and enhance employee morale. This includes events and programs related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as wellness activities.
- Lead communications and change management initiatives, developing clear messaging, engagement strategies, and adoption plans to support organizational change initiatives.
- Gathering employee feedback via pulse surveys, focus groups, and other data sources, analyzing results, developing and implementing recommendations and programs that incorporate diverse perspectives.
Requirements
The ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic and diverse team, and to build and maintain trusting work relationships across all levels of the organization is critical to success in this position. With a track record of implementing and developing a variety of learning and development programs and employee engagement frameworks in public sector unionized settings, the ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with proven efficiency in handling multiple competing demands, and approaches all aspects of the role through the lens of continuous improvement. Exposure to Microsoft Office, PeopleSoft, Records Management Systems, and survey tools are valuable assets.
Compensation
We offer an attractive remuneration and benefits package for this exempt position, including a compressed work schedule. The salary range is: $92,712.00 – $109,056.00* (2024 rates).
