L&D Advisor | Enfield | up to £43,000 | Onsite 5 days a week | Full Time
We're looking for an experienced Learning & Development professional who understands that modern L&D is about far more than delivering training.
This is an opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in shaping learning experiences that build capability, improve performance and support business growth. We're looking for someone who can bring fresh thinking, challenge traditional approaches and embrace new technologies to create engaging and impactful learning solutions.
Reporting to the Head of People, you'll work closely with managers and employees across the business to identify development needs, design and deliver learning interventions, and continuously improve how learning is experienced across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deliver and continuously improve learning and development programmes across multiple employee groups.
- Lead engaging induction and onboarding experiences that set employees up for success.
- Partner with managers to identify capability gaps and implement targeted development solutions.
- Support talent development, career pathways and succession planning initiatives.
- Create blended learning solutions incorporating face-to-face, digital and self-directed learning.
- Utilise AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance learning design, content creation and learner engagement.
- Evaluate programme effectiveness through feedback, data and performance measures, using insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Act as a visible and credible L&D partner, building strong stakeholder relationships across the business.
- Contribute ideas and innovation to support the continued growth and evolution of the L&D function.
About You
You'll already have experience working within an L&D function and be confident managing learning initiatives from design through to delivery and evaluation.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a Learning & Development Advisor, Learning Partner, Learning Consultant or similar L&D role.
- Experience designing as well as delivering learning solutions.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to talent development, career development frameworks or succession planning initiatives.
- Experience creating digital learning content and using learning technologies.
- A genuine interest in AI and innovative approaches to learning and capability development.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use learning data and feedback to improve outcomes.
- A proactive mindset, with the confidence to introduce new ideas and challenge existing ways of working.
What's Important
This is not a training coordinator or purely facilitation-focused role. We're looking for someone who can combine excellent delivery skills with learning design, innovation, technology and continuous improvement. You'll be someone who is excited by the future of L&D and understands how AI, digital learning and modern learning practices can enhance employee development and business performance.
