Our client is looking to hire a Learning Senior Manager. This is a high-impact role for someone who can flex their approach across diverse stakeholders, deeply understand business needs, and design and deliver high-quality learning solutions to a consistently “platinum” standard.
This role offers significant scope to shape and influence global learning strategy, with the opportunity to make a rapid and meaningful impact within an international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic learning advisor to senior stakeholders and HR Business Partners, aligning learning initiatives with business goals and organisational strategy
- Use data and insights to identify and solve talent and capability challenges
- Apply storytelling and influence to communicate insights, shape decisions, and drive engagement
- Provide coaching and mentorship to colleagues at all levels, building trusted relationships across the organisation
- Conduct learning needs assessments, translating business and people data into clear, actionable learning solutions
- Manage and forecast training budgets, ensuring cost-effective and high-impact investment in learning
- Evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions, reporting outcomes and recommending improvements to senior leadership
- Identify current and future skills gaps in line with organisational skills frameworks and capability strategies
- Design and implement learning strategies and solutions, curating relevant content and delivery approaches
- Ensure all programmes meet compliance, regulatory, and quality standards, maintaining accurate documentation and governance
- Stay current with emerging learning and development trends, tools, and best practices
Requirements:
- Proven ability to align learning strategies with business objectives in partnership with senior leadership
- Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret people and performance data to generate actionable insights
- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience conducting learning needs analysis and working closely with HR and senior leaders
- Proven track record in budget management and forecasting for learning or talent initiatives
- Ability to evaluate and measure the impact of learning interventions, driving continuous improvement
- Experience identifying and addressing skills gaps through targeted learning solutions
- Strong capability in designing and delivering learning strategies across complex organisations
- Experience providing coaching and mentoring across multiple levels
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and documentation standards in a corporate environment
- Experience working in global, cross-functional, and virtual teams
